Blizzard Ready to Chill Opponents to the Core

The Colorado Blizzard are returning with the same core group of players that not only completed an 8-0 season in 2011/12, but also won their 4th straight Rocky Mountain Divisional Title and a trip to Nationals. The team's goal this season is to defend the Rocky Mountain Title, get back to Nationals and bring it back a National Championship to Colorado. In order to do this, the Blizzard have added a few new players in key positions to help with depth and keep their opponents on ice.

"Coach Wells"  - The players are looking sharp and training hard, they have that hunger in their eyes and are focused on getting back to the National Championships and getting the franchise its first National Title. Do not think we are overlooking any of our Rocky Mtn opponents, this division has always been tough and the teams always pose a threat; it is Indoor Soccer anything can happen on any night. But make no mistake about it we are focused and ready to defend our title and look forward to a very spirited season with our friends from the North."

The Blizzard open their 2012-13 campaign at home on December 8th against new southern rival CSC Cavalry at 8:00PM at the Colorado Sport Center in Monument, CO.

"The Colorado Blizzard staff and players would like to extend our prayers and thoughts to the Owner and GM of the Denver Dynamite, Chuck Estrada. Get well Chuck and we all look forward to seeing you out on the fields for many years to come my friend. " - Coach Wells
